Join us this month to learn how inclusion is driving change in the workplace built environment. How can the designers and managers of the built environment anticipate the needs of their users? Do our spaces address both physical and mental comfort? Can healthy materials be integrated within inclusive design?
Learn more about how your organization can create and maintain facilities and workspaces that encourage everyone to thrive. We'll also hear from special guest Chris Dunlavy, Associate Consultant Investigations, Ethics & Compliance at Eli Lilly and Company, about his personal experience as a visually-impaired person in the workplace.
Our speaker will cover:
- The evolution of Universal Design vs Inclusive Design principles
- Inclusive Design goals in the workplace
- How to exceed code minimums to provide desirable workplace benefits for all users
- Determining building system integration opportunities
Presenter: Hao Phung, Assoc. AIA, IIDA, LEED Green Associate

His design experience extends over 11 years in commercial interiors spanning technology, hospitality, life sciences, consumer goods, and multi-family housing.
